Oh, and my journal was apparently wedged between my desk, the wall, and er, a whole hell of a mess of other shite so yeah.
After skimming what I missed all I have to say is I'd shave my head before I went for the homeless look like Maloney did and I am NEVER getting drunk with Perp and Pye.

So I'm looking at my calendar. And it says yesterday was the beginning of British Summer.
If it wasn't for Quidditch I would really be ready to be done with this place.

So. NEWTs are getting closer. Yeah, yeah, go ahead and yell at me for reminding you all about it. It's not like the Professors haven't been doing that enough lately anyways. But seriously? How the hell can I be expected to start studying for them now? I haven't even started yet besides what the teachers have assigned us even though Mum's been hassling me about it. I really don't know how she does it but somehow she just knows that I'm lying when I say that I have just to try and get her off my back about it. How can a muggle woman tell I'm lying via owl? It's insane.
It's just so hard to get up the motivation when I know it won't bloody matter what scores I get on my NEWTs. I'm going to be a Quidditch player, simple as that. So why the hell should I even bother? I'm seriously considering not studying at all. Why torture myself when I don't have to? I love my Mum but she's driving me MAD nagging me about it almost every single letter I get. That's what I get for having nerds for parents, I guess. They're never convinced I'm hitting the books enough.
Isn't it early to be thinking about studying for them anyways? They're still months away, for God's sake! I can't believe some of you are already organising study groups. I guess OWLs were pretty brutal but I still wouldn't have dreamed of starting this early.

Very well played, Ravenclaw. The game was close and I honestly wasn't sure who was going to take the win until the end. Poke, Jordon, and Davies -- you were all brill. I was very impressed with your teamwork. Which is why I was sure to congratulate Noah on two separate occasions and the rest of our team has said good things about how Ravenclaw played as well.
Thank you for the congratulations, everyone. But after today we'll be focusing on our next game. It's good to celebrate a win, but dwelling on it can make you foggy about future wins and we're definitely not going to be doing that. Good luck to all the other teams as well. So far everyone's given us a good game and I expect that to continue.

Before I left I bought a wizarding camera and took some pictures of Wynnie so I'd have a keepsake while I'm at school. I only just recently got the film developed finally. I'm putting my favorite one in here so I don't lose it.

This will be the last baby update, don't worry. I'm sure everyone's sick of hearing about it. I'm just pissed that the next time I see her she'll probably already have grown so much. Other than that getting back to school's kind of nice actually. I start to get antsy and eager to get back to practicing and all that by the end of break. Though getting back to studying is never something I look forward to. And now NEWTs. God. I'll worry about that after this Saturday's game. Maybe.

Well, despite everything I managed not to get too plastered last night. Don't know how that happened but it did. I think maybe I just didn't want to waste my last few days with Wynnie sleeping off a bad hangover. Though it doesn't help that Dad's completely hogging her and Mum keeps taking his side.

Rachel you're one of the best gift givers I've ever met. Mario Uno is amazing. I'm actually thinking of enlarging one of the Yoshi cards and putting it on my wall.
And Zeller...I hate to admit it but you are a formidable opponent. I think we're going to need a rematch another one of these days but for now -- we're dead even. What can I say? The girl can spot a snitch like no one's business and is actually decent and chasing too. And it was a good work out for both of us to boot.
